Hit the Ground Running Challenge

The 2019 Hit the Ground Running Challenge has been created to help you get into a habit of exercising regularly and consistently, prepare for a 5K/10K while also creating new habits that will positively effect your body.
There are 5 categories you will earn points for. A
Daily/Weekly Points
1 Point for keeping sugar under 40 grams daily (must track in my fitness pal) - (max 7)
1 Point for drinking 100/80 ounces of water daily - (max 7)
1 Point for not having any alcohol daily - (max 7)
1 Point for attending 3 Crossfit classes/week (double days do not count as 2) - (max 3)
1 Point for completed 2 days of the running program - (max 2)
1) Must keep sugars under 40g
-For this challenge you will need to track your food in my fitness pal everyday. You will be tracking every food that has sugar (which is almost everything, so I suggest tracking everything). At the end of each day, you must be under 40g (which is very generous).
2) No alcohol for 12-weeks
- Pretty simple here, you either have it or you don't
3) Drink at least 80/100 ounces of water a day
- Ladies will be drinking a minimum of 80 ounces per day and men 100 ounces per day. This is of plain water, nothing added
4) Attend 3 Crossfit Classes/week
- Must log into Wodify for at least 3 classes per week, double days do not count for 2
5) Complete 2 days of Running programming
- Complete the running homework anytime during the week. They can not be done on the same day, you will have 2 extra sessions a week to complete
**There will be a workout posted for Saturdays but it is optional and only to give you an extra day of running.
Final Test out is a 5K or 10K run (optional, but encouraged)
Before Challenge
Pictures (front/side/back in an outfit you will wear on the last day- men in shorts, ladies in shorts and sports bra)
Basic Measurements (hips and waist and chest)
1-Mile Run Test
400m Run Test
If you would like to do an inbody - you can schedule one at the discounted $20.00 rate, but it is not required
After Challenge
Pictures (front/side/back in the same outfit and spot you will wore on the first day- men in shorts, ladies in shorts and sports bra)
Basic Measurements (hips and waist and chest_
Cost for the 5K/10K run is $40.00 - you will register for this on your own if you choose to do the run with us and the proceeds will benefit the Bacastrong Fund.

What is the buy in?
- The buy in is $45.00+ Wodify Rise fees.
Do I have to use Wodify Rise?
-Yes, you can download the app and you will use this as the tracker during the challenge.
What if I screw up?
- We are human, I bet you won't be the only one, stay on track because you never know who will also slip up
What are the challenge dates?
- Monday August 12th - Sunday November 3rd
Can I get a refund?
- No refunds allowed for this challenge.
What if I can't run?
- We will provide a rowing option, and you can test out with a 5K or 10K row
